Good story, SGT Jim Z.. I would have thought demand for veterans specialty license places would be high in North Carolina. Then I read that the state issues 24 different kinds of veterans specialty plates. This easing of the 300 threshold will allow those who don't qualify for one of the other ones to get a generic one. And that's a good thing. (I wonder how much stolen valor is involved in the issuance of those 24 kinds of plates. I'll bet there's at least some.)

CW5 (Join to see) I would have that demand was high but like you said there are a plethora of plates and some do not apply to veterans. You do bring up a valid point about the stolen valor I am sure some occurs and I wonder how it is combatted. I will have to look into this further.
