Now that approval is not required for regt affiliation, what keeps everyone in the Army from being affiliated with Delta Force? Loyalty?

Actually it's now based on the soldier's unit assignment history, but what if a unit was disgraced such as the case with Bob Bales, or Calvin Gibbs? How does a regimental commander revoke the soldier's affiliation?

Regimental affiliation is not arbitrary. You still have to have at least served in a unit to affiliate with it. So no, legions of Soldiers will not suddenly be affiliating with SFOD-D, since they didn't serve in it.
