As far as performance, the Apache is the worlds best, hands down. But my favorite is the old Loach (OH-6 Cayuse) which has evolved into the MH-6/AH-6 Little Bird.

Certainly not the best, but the Super Cobra and my newest best friend Marine flying it was my favorite on a dark night many moons ago. It was shooting lots of rockets over my head at people shooting at me and my friends. I'm still typing my opinons, and they are not.

well I like the AH15 cobra tow and Also I went to Ft Rucker to be door Gunner on UH1 Huey
and when they said the your life as would be 5 seconds under fire if I remember.

after 30 years of progression... the AH64 was matched By the Prototype Rah-66 Comanche but never allowed to come to full term...
the AH-66 had the Potential to out Fly and out gun the AH-64... but the military was Bought off...

The Apache. They have always seemed popular for use for attacking, and their movements while in firing mode are straight-up sexy!

I will go with the Russian Mi-24 (Hind). I picked this one, not do to the specific aircraft itself, but as a proof of concept of what we should look at for an attack/utility helicopter. I think it would be cool if we developed an aircraft that can combine the roles of the Blackhawk and Apache. One platform, one supply chain and a variety of versatile roles.

To be honest, I've always been fascinated the engineering that went into the Kamov KA-50 Black Shark (NATO: Hokum). I recall seeing in an old '92 copy of Jane's World Almanac that it had a crew of two, well after it had been revealed to be single-crewed with computer automation.

That, and the fact that it had a pilot ejection system.

I'm a little partial to the Bell AH-1 SuperCobra! Of course that may be a little Marine bias!
