Of the CIA and FBI, which is the best overall agency?

Consider the CIA and the FBI. Which would you say is the best overall agency? Why? Which would you work for if given the job offer?

Is this not sort of like comparing apples to oranges? Are the missions of each different than the other? However, since you asked, I would take an offer from the CIA over the FBI only because I like the overall mission of the CIA more than the FBI but I find it hard to say one is better than the other overall.

I am kind of prejudiced in favor of the FBI, as that was the "family business". Dad was a Special Agent, and mom, my brother and I worked for The Bu as clerks. I ultimately chose the Army over the Bureau. More fun, and better opportunities for advancement.

CH (MAJ) William Beaver They do completely different things, so I'm not sure how you can compare them. Sort of like comparing a truck to a boat.

As I currently work for the Bureau, I'm a little prejudiced. I have worked with the other guys off and on for about 10 years and didn't care for the vast majority of them. They do have a vastly different mission, but that of the FBI is very diverse and covers the whole criminal spectrum; white collar, fraud, gangs, guns, drugs, domestic and foreign terrorism, counter intel, cyber, ...

Can you quit the cia whenever you want i plan on joining the cia and trying it out maybe give it 2 yrs if i dont like it i would want to quit and move to something else. Would that be possible to quit?
