It went through multiple changes in the end. I know we did the majority of our medical issues beyond the aid station in Ord. However, our parent organization was out of Ft Hood, this was from early 94 through the summer of 97. Was the best duty ever! Loved the field life in Liggett.

I'm PCSing in June to Ft. Hunter-Liggett with family (3 active-in-sports kids). Pay more to live in Paso Robles/Atascadero or stay on Ft. Hunter-Liggett? I'm aware of commute...that's no problem. Cost conscious... Want opportunities for kids' activities. Any suggestions?

I WAS STATIONED AT CDEC AND LIVED IN KING CITY. I WAS WITH ARMOR COMPANY "C" AND IT WAS IN THE EARLY 80s. I think it was 81 to 83. I think I know you.

I was at Camp Hunter Ligget from 1973 to 1975. Was TDY for 2 years while I was there. Lived In a hootch. That was different. Some solders lived in the super hootch. A lot better living conditions than what I had.

I was at Hunter Ligget 73 to 75. Was TDY for 2 years. Was assigned to Ft. Ord. But stationed at Hunter Ligget.

I was with CDEC Armor Co Headquarter Platoon. I was 45n10b2 tank turret mech.

I was assigned to CDEC in 1969 and 1970 as Commo Officer. Our headquarters were in Camp Roberts and testing sites were in Hunter Liggett. Our Battalion was made up of an HQ Company, an Armor Company, an Artillery Company and a Maintenance company. (One of the weirdest units in the Army) We were testing starlight scopes and new fire power weapons that were helicopter-mounted during the Vietnam conflict. When Camp Roberts was deactivated in April of 1970, I received orders for Vietnam and served as commanding officer of the 1st Signal Brigade's Area Maintenance and Supply Facility (AMSF) in Cam Rahn Bay. I'd love to make contact with my fellow service members who served with me there and then.

I was attached to CDEC (later CDCEC) from 2/1962 to 4/1965. Ft. Ord / Camp Roberts / HLMR.

I was at Hunter Liggett in the mid 70's, I did electrical work for the contractors there.
