Ok M1911 fans, what Model M1911 clone do you carry? Make and model?

When I carry a M1911 it is normally a SIG C3 in .45ACP.

Remarkable to see some of those illustrated (including my Colt Gold Cup) have the flat mainspring housing of the 1911. The 1911-A1 was supposed to have been improved by the arched, knurled addition to fill the hand better.

Oddly enough, I don't own a firearm. Not because I don't want to, just that every time I start to research prices and what I'm looking for, something else comes up and the money has to go somewhere else.

My carry is a Colt Commander, 45ACP, produced circa 1952. I've owned it since 1990. Did a little work on it.

My normal carry is a Kimber Stainless Pro-Carry II in .45ACP. I also have a Colt Govt. Mod. Series 70, and in the past have carried a Sig GSR and a Sig Compact, both in 45.

I have a high capacity RI in .45 but I mostly carry my Springfield XD mod 2 9mm or the F & N 509 tactical. I find the RI hard to conceal.

I have two Springfield Armory 1911s. One is a 1911A1 in 45ACP which is a great pistol. The other is their TRP Operator long slide in 10mm Automatic. The TRP is a bad ass work of art.
