McNair work closely with TOG (The Old Guard). I can get with my fellow paralegals who are a part of TOG and get you more information. I know there is a shuttle between Ft. McNair and Ft. Myer, called the Myer Flyer, I'm not sure where else it goes from. There is also housing on Ft. Myer, not just Ft. Belvoir. A lot of married Soldiers I know like either on Andrews AFB or on Bolling AFB. I will definitely reach out to TOG for you and see what I can gather. Or you if you want to dig around some the website is: <a target="_blank" href="http://www.oldguard.mdw.army.mil/inbound-soldiers">http://www.oldguard.mdw.army.mil/inbound-soldiers</a> . There are links on the site that discuss housing, schools, etc. Contact information is also available on the page. I hope this helps!</p><div class="pta-link-card"><br /><div class="pta-link-card-picture"><img src="http://www.oldguard.mdw.army.mil/images/default-album/star.gif?sfvrsn=2"></div><br /><div class="pta-link-card-content"><br /><div class="pta-link-card-title"><a href="http://www.oldguard.mdw.army.mil/inbound-soldiers" target="_blank">Inbound Soldiers</a></div><br /><div class="pta-link-card-description">  When reporting to the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Virginia ensure you have the following paperwork and item(s) on your person.</div><br /></div><br /><div style="clear:both;"></div><br /><div class="pta-box-hide"></div><br /></div> SFC Private RallyPoint Member Tue, 11 Feb 2014 08:18:08 -0500 2014-02-11T08:18:08-05:00 Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 31 at 2014 4:00 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/old-guard-indoctrination-program?n=89501&urlhash=89501 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SSG Blum I would highly suggest that you make good use of the army sponsorship program to get in contact with someone from the 289th. As for the regimental orientation program it will be your place of duty upon reporting to the old guard for approximately 3 weeks you will be allowed time to find housing and stabilize your family however, I suggest you make time to get to the dc area early to take care of this before reporting I also made the move from baumholder to ft myer and this will help ease your transition. As summer approaches TOG optempo increases as we will do more ceremonies so leadership will not be available to always assist you SSG Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 31 Mar 2014 04:00:25 -0400 2014-03-31T04:00:25-04:00 Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 31 at 2014 5:36 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/old-guard-indoctrination-program?n=90011&urlhash=90011 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SSG Blum,<div> </div><div>Send me what ever questions you may have.
