The guys I was together with, we don't even talk about it amongst each other, let alone anyone else.Response by SGT Justin Anderson made Nov 18 at 2015 10:10 AM2015-11-18T10:10:57-05:002015-11-18T10:10:57-05:00LCDR Rabbah Rona Matlow1116555<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Lance is a great friend of mine here in Olympia. He talked about an attack on a bus in the Balkans, that he has never told me about. IT was very chilling hearing this story. If he hadn't survived, there would be no Lance, no past commander of the DAV chapter and VFW post, no awesome father, etc...<br /><br />I am very grateful that these veterans felt safe enough to tell their painful stories...Response by LCDR Rabbah Rona Matlow made Nov 18 at 2015 11:22 AM2015-11-18T11:22:40-05:002015-11-18T11:22:40-05:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member1116603<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>What a sobering story, but so powerful in its meaning. I said, "Mom, you just met one. I've never lost a wink of sleep over it." I never lied to my mother as an adult, but I might have that time. The story about how time stands still and you can remember details in nanoseconds is true; even after decades have passed. And, I otherwise have a terrible memory.Response by Sgt Michael Johnson made Nov 18 at 2015 1:21 PM2015-11-18T13:21:49-05:002015-11-18T13:21:49-05:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member1117979<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>On Killing by Lt.
