All dairy is up. Tag that with $15 an hour wages and nobody will be able to eat there...but I'll make a real effort just to get my hash brown cakes!!!

Can't you already hear the cashier offer the choices...
"welcome to McDonalds, would you like to try our Morning; Mid-day; or Midnight McMuffin?" Somebody will be offended if they can't their Big Mac on during the breakfast menu times...

Supply and Demand, It might just raise the price. Good Point. The current high price of eggs has more to do with Avian Flu though. They've had to destroy quite some Egg Layers here in the Midwest after they came down with Avian Flu. I've heard tales of Mounds of Millions of Birds awaiting Incineration in Nebraska.

Prices won't likely remain high for long. The (relatively) free market is remarkably adept at responding to demand signals, and egg producers will be quick to fill the void, bringing eggs back to their market value. That is, assuming out meddling government can restrain itself from passing laws or regulations contrary to market adjustments.
