Most people like Manhattan, KS. I have a little one and I hate commuting and gate lines, so I live on post. The housing, for the most part is really nice, and you are close to both JC and Manhattan. Post is huge, so PT traffic can be a real PITA in the AM...and getting down the hill is awful from 17-1800.
