Once your package has been turned in for the 160th SOAR, about how long does it take until you leave your current unit?

Assuming everything is good to go, once your package has been turned in for 160th SOAR, about how long does it take until you leave your current unit ?

It took about 3 months for one of my friends who was a SPC also. I think it may depend on what MOS you are in, and unit availability.

You are assuming the the Army's cream of the crop,tip of the spear will take you. And if they do, it will be when they want/need you.

The 160th SOAR has a "Selection" process. You have to meet their requirements before being assigned. All SOF Units have Selections.

You still have to be accepted. But once you're accepted, assuming you have 1 year on station, you'll probably receive a report date to green platoon within 90 days or so.

I turned my in over a year ago and just got the call to be picked up yesterday.
