It was always funny watching the Koreans lining up in the morning so they could play on the 9 hole course on Walker. Is it still there? I lived on Walker and Henry 98-99. Walker sucked when the monsoon came, because the entire front of the barracks flooded. As long as you watch curfew, it can be one of the best times in the army. Was there in 97-98. The TLC/Henry's Place was always good for a few drinks and karaoke. Plenty of clubs and restaurants outside of the front gate. Daegu has plenty to offer. Get out and explore, don't be a barracks rat. Camp walker is about a mile away and there should still be buses that travel between them plus Camp Carroll in Waegwon.
