Maybe they are closed for a reason, perhaps COVID. Bypassing the mitigation measure put in place, may not be the smartest idea. While I understand the want and need to be working out, there was a reason for it. If you are talking for a small group of people to use, it is a bit of a different story.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 3 at 2020 7:31 AM2020-07-03T07:31:37-04:002020-07-03T07:31:37-04:00SFC Stephen Everett6067756<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You can check GCSS or Property Book Website, including DLA. However, I have been down that road. I checked with the Approval Authority to purchase gym equipment from companies online. By providing pricing and cost the Approval Authority provided an $8,000 purchase cost and the Property Book Officer put the equipment on the Property Book, as Installation Property for a Joint Armed Forces usage. Also, you can check with the State Department by POC email to see if they have unused equipment and do a 3161 Lateral Transfer. Good luck!Response by SFC Stephen Everett made Jul 3 at 2020 9:36 AM2020-07-03T09:36:40-04:002020-07-03T09:36:40-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member6068378<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Im supposed to be deploying in a couple days obviously goingnto fort hood first but Kuwait is our destination man that is really going to suckResponse by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 3 at 2020 1:03 PM2020-07-03T13:03:40-04:002020-07-03T13:03:40-04:00CPT Daniel Rodriguez6072030<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you have an ordering officer and purchasing agent (officer), they may local purchase by filling out a 3953 and a SF 44.Response by CPT Daniel Rodriguez made Jul 4 at 2020 11:39 PM2020-07-04T23:39:39-04:002020-07-04T23:39:39-04:00CPT Thomas Monahan6104805<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There should be.
