It is hard to decide what "they" will do. I have given up trying to figure it out as I am often times wrong!Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 1 at 2014 6:43 PM2014-10-01T18:43:47-04:002014-10-01T18:43:47-04:00MAJ Robert (Bob) Petrarca261706<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It's inevitable. It's like all the happy horse dung with trying to build casinos in RI. No matter how many times we vote it down, every f--king election they repackage it, reword it and shove it back in our faces. Eventually it will get by. We can only pray that whatever cuts to our benefits those Michael Foxtrots in the big domed building enact, that those exact same cuts get enacted on their benefits as well. They can't have one without the other. <br /><br />Do our armed forces have a general order 66 like the clone trooper army in Star Wars Episode III? Just a happy thought.Response by MAJ Robert (Bob) Petrarca made Oct 1 at 2014 10:00 PM2014-10-01T22:00:18-04:002014-10-01T22:00:18-04:00MSG Wade Huffman261980<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have a feeling this fight isn't going to go away anytime soon. Lucky for us, all of the Service Organizations (VFW, Legion, AMVETS, DAV, MOAA, TREA, and on down the line) are steadfast in their opposition, and, for the time being at least, so is Congress. Who know what will happen AFTER the elections.Response by MSG Wade Huffman made Oct 2 at 2014 7:07 AM2014-10-02T07:07:51-04:002014-10-02T07:07:51-04:00SSG Edward Tilton7081973<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The Cost of Living has gone up 15% so there is your pay cut. It is cheaper to shop off base than at the Exchange or Commissary. A Haircut went from $6 to $12. And if you are retired you are treated like a freeloader.Response by SSG Edward Tilton made Jul 1 at 2021 12:18 PM2021-07-01T12:18:32-04:002021-07-01T12:18:32-04:002014-10-01T18:41:13-04:00
