PCS to Ft Carson as first duty station. When will I find out what BDE I'm going to?

Also when will I be able to come back and move my family? The PCS will be from TN to Carson. Any tips that could help me? Thanks in advance!

After you sign in a Post recieing, they should assign you to a unit. After you sign into the unit, chaeck about moving your family- make sure to check with housing 1st and get the lay of the land.

if you have your orders to Carson it should say assigned to eg 01 ,02 ,03 which is your brigade

Check your orders, you should be able to take your family with you. Don't try to do too much at once when you get there, at 6480 feet of elevation the air is thin and takes some getting used to.
