PCS to Germany, what all do I need to do?

Came down on orders to Germany so I need to know what all I need to do. For instance I have two small children do they need passports or can I get those waived?

Also make sure that you get going on getting your family command sponsored now. Contact your unit sponsor and they will be able to help you as well.

SSG Private RallyPoint Member, if you know where you are going in Germany, I would be happy to give you a rundown on what I know about the area. I lived and worked in Germany for over 25 years, so I would be happy to help answer any questions about the country or its' people. Are you planning to live on the German economy, or in Government housing? (It makes a difference as to what you may, and may not, want to bring with you as far as electronics goes....) You might want to consider learning a few words, and phrases, of German before you go, especially if you may be looking for a place outside of Government housing.
