Lucky S.O.B. I was stationed at HAAF for three years and hope to one day go back. If you are looking for a decent apartment that is pet friendly, the Preston Grove apartments is where it's at. We lived off of route 17 for our last year there. Forget the name of the neighborhood, but the street was Valleydale Way. Great neighborhood. Richmond Hill is nice as well, but kind of far from Hunter. Good luck and you will fall in love with Savannah.

Ardsley Park is a great neighborhood with a very active community (that isn’t all on your business). Great location. Post is only 6-7 minutes to the gate, the area is Midtown Savannah and is well patrolled and safe. Additionally, it’s near both Memorial Health and St Joseph’s Candler Hospitals. Tons of parks to take the kids too.
