I like this idea, especially for people who can't easily prove they are an honorably discharged Vet. I also like the penalty. I wish the Stolen Valor Act would be revised to have something like this added. Just simple impersonating a military member should hold the same as impersonating a police officer.

I know it is not a perfect law but it is a step in the right direction. I think each state needs to pass a Stolen Valor Act.

IN CA I had to go to the VA with my DD214 and they gave me a letter for the DMV.
