Platoon Leader Net: An Official Army website, run and operated by Army Officers; for future, current and past Platoon Leaders.

Officers of the Army, Army National Guard, and Army Reserves
had the opportunity to take part in the creation and launch of an official Army
website, run and operated by Army Officers; Platoon Leader Net. It’s a non-CAC, mobile friendly version of
the Platoon Leader Forum located on the MilSuite.

The site is only open to currently serving commissioned
officers, current ROTC cadets, and Army National Guard Officer Candidates. Though located at a “.net,” the website is
secure, is located on military servers at West Point, is only for unclassified
content, and requires a log-in and password to gain access. I want to stress that this “.net” site does
not replace the MilSuite location, but augments it with a location that is
easily accessed from non-CAC computers.

There are those of you out there that have a lot to
contribute to current and future platoon leaders; we are looking for YOU to

It’s a beta site, so its success relies on your input, contributions,
and feedback.

Platoon Leader Net is a growing network of leaders who are
deeply committed to improving the practice of company and platoon-level
leadership. It’s a place where past,
current and future platoon leaders can come to improve the practice of leading
platoons.

Good Luck with the Site, Brock. Great idea. I wish I had this resource when I was a Platoon Leader and Detachment Commander.

I am a member of the PL Forum and should be transitioning to the Company Commander Forum soon. I am currently the Topic Lead for the Medical Service Corps page. Only issue was the switch to MilSpace. When the site was run on a commercial portal with limited access it was better and more user friendly. I know LTC Kilner is trying to get it to be more user friendly. I recommend you use the resources and pass the word to your peers. Great site.
