<P>I wish I had pictures of my Gramps in his uniform. I love seeing old pictures and learning all I can from their uniforms. It kind of goes along with a previous post that talked about ribbons and patches showing a persons career. </P>

The patch on his cap reflects 82nd Airborne Division HQ B Co of the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment.<div><br></div><div>This should help you start your search. They performed a lot of operation 1939-1945.</div>

Going on the information provided by SSG Mirko Maravi the patch belongs to the 508 PIR attached to the 82nd Airborne in WWII. Is this the same patch?
