Political violence vs political protest: Is it time to start handing out penalties measured in years?

This is no different than gun laws that liberals are always whining about and looking for more. We have common sense laws on the books to handle these idiots, we just need to enforce them. Start sending some people to prison for destroying stores, assaulting cops and looting businesses and we will see a return to responsible protests.

Considering the Protests started with in hours of the announcement of the winner...
They appeared in dozens of cities with identical signs, slogans and Chants lead by the same organizers and the "Election rallies...
this is not Spontaneous... Someone Planned, funded and sponsored and coordinated the supplies and programs to have them ready...
Start looking at George Soros and His Minions at Move on.org BLM, and the Rest Progressive Left...

I would like to see an investigation into those that sent operatives to political rivals campaign rallies with the intent to agitate, and those responsible (and who were sent) be charged and prosecuted for inciting a riot. The problem being those to be charged are political rivals of Pres Elect Trump, and cries of abuse of power, hunting down one's political enemies, dictatorships, blah blah blah would overwhelm the justing process.
