Possible to get MOS (68V) with a pre-req waiver or contigency? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/possible-to-get-mos-68v-with-a-pre-req-waiver-or-contigency <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am PS (E-5) looking to enlist in the Army with MOS 68V. Assuming (1) I can keep my E-5 and (2) it&#39;s even available to me, is it possible to get the MOS without having the college pre-req. Specifically I don&#39;t have a Chemistry course. Is it possible to get either (a) get a waiver of the requirement altogether (I do have an AAS and have completed EMT-B school as well, if that helps) or (b) get a contract contingent upon passing a Chemistry course? The local community college offers it, and I have no doubt I could pass it, but I wouldn&#39;t want to take the course without even knowing if I could get the MOS to begin with. Would you expect the Army to let you out of such a contract should you fail to pass the course? 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Sat, 23 Mar 2019 14:26:43 -0400 2019-03-23T14:26:43-04:00 Response by Capt Daniel Goodman made Mar 23 at 2019 2:40 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/possible-to-get-mos-68v-with-a-pre-req-waiver-or-contigency?n=4476645&urlhash=4476645 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>What was the major for the AAS, grades, GPA,.specific course titles,.esp.STEM topics, try to.elavorate, if at all possible, OK? Trust me, for resp therapy, I looked up the MOS, one positively must have a whole year of classical physics, as well.as.at.least.first year.inorganic.chem, preferably organic chem as well...I worked alongside numerous RRTs, before.my total perm.disability, I also.did a good deal.of pulmonologist as part of clinical.physiology, I&#39;m not saying this to dissuade you, I can suggest a good deal.of material to help.you, however, the norm now is as I said, in addition to a full year of calculus, there&#39;s no such thing as prprecalc, that term is total.fiction, you&#39;ll need trigonometry, to know it cold,.then full basic calc,.both halves, differential and integral, as well as calc based first year physics, aside from the chem, explain.more, I&#39;ll try to suggest all I can to help, ok?.We shut my license off sevl yrs ago, for doctoral.allied health, however, I&#39;ve seen a good deal, and worked with just about all allied health fields, im.well.aware.of.how they all.train, to a large.extent, promise,.ok? The MOS requires the courses because you&#39;ll graduate with an associate degree. There are a couple other 68 MOSs that require Chem, but 68V isn&#39;t one of them. SFC Private RallyPoint Member Sat, 23 Mar 2019 19:38:18 -0400 2019-03-23T19:38:18-04:00 2019-03-23T14:15:45-04:00
