Private organizations https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/private-organizations

Has anyone ever had to face a leader or group of leaders/soldiers who are a member of a private organization (i.e.. cult, party, group, or brotherhood)? I have seen multiple soldiers who have received special duty positions, leadership roles, and priority for personel actions just because they are a member of their leader's "brotherhood/group/cult" This deeply disturbs me and I want to make a change; however I am not sure how to approach this. I feel as if most leaders I can address will back the people who do these actions because of their rank/duty position. Any thoughts? He wanted to avoid any appearance of impropriety.

There are others, however, that are not so honest. As with everything, is not so much the organization, but the moral character of those involved.

MSG Jose Colon Wed, 16 Apr 2014 21:48:39 -0400 2014-04-16T21:48:39-04:00 Response by CW5 Sam R. I can see that a few folks have had some and I am sure the majority of folks on RP have witnessed such events transpire. My most vivid recollection (I will not divulge the organization) was where a SSG was a head figure in a group (organization outside the military) who had a 1SG who was also in the same group. In this particular instance I witnessed the 1SG buckle to the SSG in more than one occasion due to the SSG rank in the outside group. There was huge secrecy, but when you work with everyone and socialize externally, you see a lot of things that become a lot clearer once you connect the dots.

I do see your issue, I did not call attention to it either, I did inquire in a round about way, but steered clear as I was only a SPC-SSG at the time.
