With a license you can continue to build upon your initial license with additional ratings. As far as the paragliding gear goes, I can only rely on my skydiving experience. It seemed like technology changed quite frequently. You might pay for a lot of gear now and in a few years feel like you needed to upgrade.<br />By the way, if that's a Cessna 210 in the first photo, I made a few jumps from one many moons ago!
