Most think the anonymity of the internet will protect them.Response by SPC Ryan D. made Jun 24 at 2015 9:42 PM2015-06-24T21:42:30-04:002015-06-24T21:42:30-04:001SG Private RallyPoint Member768530<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I can see it now: busybodies with no job troll the internet looking for morons spouting stupid stuff and report them to the CG to hang from the yardarm. I can't wait until I get told by some CSM I have to "Friend" all of my Soldiers and monitor the inanities they post.<br />Oh goody.<br />Sounds like an new opportunity for another mandatory annual training requirement.<br /><br />Having said that, there are those out there who really do run amok and need to be reined in. Online harassment is something I have no problem trying to eradicate.Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 24 at 2015 9:50 PM2015-06-24T21:50:16-04:002015-06-24T21:50:16-04:00SSgt Private RallyPoint Member768811<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am wary and a little annoyed at the bullying on dissenting opinion. I am talking mainly of the PC crowd coming in here and leaving shortly after their little disrespect of the POTUS hyperbole. I find this a bit chilling and a bit Orwellian to say the least. Respect yes but like the top said, what do we have little tattle-tales? That is beyond selfish and perhaps the criticisms are constructive. Just my opinion, for what it is worth.Response by SSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 25 at 2015 1:02 AM2015-06-25T01:02:38-04:002015-06-25T01:02:38-04:00CW3 Private RallyPoint Member805052<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This has been a highly debated topic in my work place recently. It started with simple communication of junior officers from my company to higher echelons being slightly unprofessional in content and structure. Easy fix with some mentorship and guidelines, but this type of problem is only growing as the force continues to be flooded with younger soldiers who grew up communicating mostly with e-mail, texting, and social media. I foresee the need for training as part of initial entry into the military and beyond.Response by CW3 Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 10 at 2015 8:57 AM2015-07-10T08:57:51-04:002015-07-10T08:57:51-04:002015-06-24T21:38:13-04:00
