Projected duty station has changed... again. Should I expect it to keep changing?

Currently at DLI and I was set to go to JBLM, received welcome letter etc, went to check the status of my sponsor on ACT and my form was deleted and now I am projected to go to Germany. This was all within 3 weeks. Im not pcsing until October so should I just expect it to change a few more times?

I would call your branch manager. But as the saying goes. Expect the worst, hope for the best. But first things first, call branch. Their number is on HRC.gov.

Sit tight and take all direction from your chain of command. I know how frustrating it is to have orders change suddenly. JBLM is the Nation’s “hot spot” for the virus so it’s no surprise they cancelled those orders. I’m currently on orders to Korea this fall as well so who knows what will happen. Best thing to do is keep yourself busy and support the organization you’re with. Volunteer in the community, assist your company in any way possible, tutor others, workout, and improve your language abilities. Being a hold over isn’t all that bad as long as you keep yourself gainfully employed so talk to your DS about how it is you can support. I’m over in Echo in the event you need further advice or some work to do.

In the Army, anything can happen. On a much better note. Germany was by far the best assignment I ever had! Don’t lose your mind over there like some of us did lol.
