Promotion after Reduction?

I was a PFC and recently demoted to PV2 from a company grade article 15, and flagged for 60 days. Do I promote after the flag is up? Do i have to wait for tig? would that start at the beginning of the flag, the date of the article 15, or the end of my flag? How would this effect my promotion to SPC?

Your TIG starts over at PV2 after your flag is lifted, you are ineligible for any waivers

I’d say tough it out, you are very early in your career that it dosent matter much, if a wavier comes then sweet, but you’ll make everything back faster then you realize

Your TIG starts from your DOR which is your date of demotion. You must meet TIG and TIS requirements as well as not being flagged. As SSG Private RallyPoint Member pointed out, you are not eligible for any waivers

Good answers below- ? Why would they want to promote you to SPC, if you failed as a PFC? You had better toe the line and excel for the rest of your enlistment, to make up this.

Don't worry about it, just keep putting in good work, if you were. If not, start, and you may recover. I've been out awhile, but that's how it was.
