I was a PFC and recently demoted to PV2 from a company grade article 15, and flagged for 60 days. Do I promote after the flag is up? Do i have to wait for tig? would that start at the beginning of the flag, the date of the article 15, or the end of my flag? How would this effect my promotion to SPC?

SSG (Join to see), what number does this make for someone asking this question? I lost track after 10 other posts with this exact question.

It happened to me. He will be ineligible for any waivers while flagged. Your time in grade will restart, you won’t get any normally automatic promotions such as promotion to spc. Your tig starts from the day you got demoted. So 3 months after you should pick up pfc again & then 3 months after pfc you can get a waiver to spc & if you don’t get waivered then it will be 6 months tig for automatic promotion to spc

Your TIG starts from your DOR which is your date of demotion. You must meet TIG and TIS requirements as well as not being flagged. As SSG (Join to see) pointed out, you are not eligible for any waivers
