Pumped for Oktoberfest!!

Oktoberfest 2015 in Munich, Germany ends on Sunday. I'll be making my yearly pilgrammage there tomorrow. Anyone else? Who has been this year, or any year? Did you enjoy it, and does anyone have any epic stories to share?

Have a great time at Oktoberfest SSG Roderick Smith. I a haven't been to one since the early 1980's and always enjoyed it especially if I didn't have to drive anywhere while enjoying it. I hope to take my wife back to Germany in the fall within the next couple of years and introduce her to Oktoberfest.

Wish I could go! Really want to be in Germany for an Oktoberfest before I'm too old to enjoy it (read that as 90+ I'll still be drinking beer in Germany in my 80's, no biggie).

I went in 2009 and 2010. The first year I was on crutches but would not be denied the chance to experience the celebration I had heard so much about growing up. Needless to say it wasn't a pleasant time due to my injury and the cluster of drunk stumbling patrons. In 2010, my battles and I decided to take a party train from Ktown to Munich and it was too much. Overall I have some fond memories but if I ever go again I will wear lederhosen and just enjoy the festivities more so than the delicious bier, Prost!!!
