I think this is right thing to do.<br /><br />The Purple Heart, was already awarded previously for Terrorist Attacks, overseas (Berlin, Frankfort... ) for the most part, until 911 (Pentagon). Things changed on 911, and now attacks have occurred here. <br /><br />Why our administration is reticent to call them terrorist attacks, is a separate issue I can't explain. <br /><br />Terrorism has a specific definition, and these incidents clearly meet that definition. Further, they were motivated by an extremist ideology that is actively encouraging attacks on US military personal.<br /><br />Nevertheless, the PH should be award for any wounds or deaths as a result of a terrorist attack overseas and here. <br /><br />The face and nature of warfare has changed. If they are true then all you have to do is fall out of the back of a truck in Jordan And break an arm...
