It is so political now for anything to get done, and you have to know someone who knows someone to get any decent assignments or schooling, it is one of the reasons I dropped my packet, I had a 1SG slot to go to @ drum but turned it down in lieu of retirement because I had become so frustrated with the direction the Army was heading, and it doesn't appear to be improving anytime soon for you and our fellow brethren.
