PFC Dakota Ashley 4692604 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>So I was granted PDRL at 90% over a year ago due to a few small injuries and the main injury which is a bilateral hip injury (70%). My question is, if I&#39;m getting this surgery, which is an elective surgery, to try and help deal with the pain better is there a chance my rating gets lowered? I was also trying to see if PDRL gets put on a reevaluation list or not as well but could not find any information? Question regarding PDRL and surgery? 2019-06-03T01:47:29-04:00 PFC Dakota Ashley 4692604 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>So I was granted PDRL at 90% over a year ago due to a few small injuries and the main injury which is a bilateral hip injury (70%). Reduction of benefits is chump change when it comes to pain. It gets in the way of everything and more so as you age. Focus on aging well and pain free if you can. What matters here from a VA angle is whether or not your condition(s) is rated temporary or static. If it is temporary, you can expect them to order a reevaluation some time in the next few years to determine your current disabling rating from it.
