Just wanted to pass this info along to the RP community. I had never heard of this before and still have yet to personally see one. We are currently ordering one for a fellow SM that will be retiring in a few months. I think this is a great way to get a unique award for a Veteran or fellow SM.

Here is an example of two WWII vets being given their quilts and the Air Force veteran introduced them to us. My wife made the two quilts given to the WWII Vets and the quilt for Air Force Vet was from the Quilts of Valor club we belong too.
