RallyPoint Member Video Contest

We want to hear your RallyPoint story! Read the contest guidelines here (http://rly.pt/video-contest-rules) and submit a link to your video in the discussion comments for the running of a $500 cash prize and the chance to be featured on the RallyPoint website!

The contest starts now, and we’re taking submissions until September 12th. It’s up to you to pick the top five videos, so vote up your favorites. Keep in mind that the sooner you submit your awesome video, the more time members have to vote up your video.

The RallyPoint story huh? Yinz guys have a great idea here and a great line of questioning for a set line of answers. I will charge the "powers that be" with this. We have all either contributed to or have been a beneficiary of, great feedback from folks on this site who have had no other agenda other than helping others. While we are a society that want to recognize those who stand above others, we really should recognize those who push folks each and every day. Those are the folks who keep the train moving and while they do not want recognition "by name," they need recognition as a whole. They are the unsung heroes who keep our train rolling...those are the ones, collectively, who push our folks each and every day...

This took me a while to post. I typed in a few things, but then deleted them because I don't want to give away my ideas. Ya'll will just have to tune in and watch for my video!!

Word on the street is that RallyPoint is offering a 1,000 influence point bonus for each contestant's video submission. That's in addition to points earned through up votes on your video. The deadline is two weeks away... are you in?

The 1985 cutoff date makes it difficult for us oldtimers to compete. However I sent a copy of my VA medical card, all I have. I doubt they will make the connection since I had to send it with my phone.

I can't wait to see your videos! I thought the video links would be posted here... did no one submit a video, or are you all just waiting until the deadline so no one steals your awesome ideas? ;)

I didn't have the means to create one this time around. I've been traveling, visiting family and acquaintances during my PCS leave.
