I'm currently past my 2 year mark in service and I noticed the past few days my erb has not changed to spc. I dont have any flags and I am not on any profile. Any ideas why this is and how to remedy it?

It will change when your S1 gets around to doing it, which is after your company training room submits it. Your date of rank will be backdated to your 2 year mark

It is a misnomer that SPC is an automatic rank. It is up to the CoC to actually promote Soldiers to these automatically promoted ranks. All it takes from the CoC is marking NO on AAA-117 and a 4856 stating why you are not being promoted and the promotion doesn't happen.
Section II
Processing Enlisted Promotions to Private E–2, Private First Class, and Specialist
2–3. Rules
d. If a CDR elects not to recommend a Soldier for promotion on the automatic promotion date, the CDR must annotate “NO” on the eligibility report, then the CDR (or BN HR (or equivalent echelon) must prepare a DA Form 4187 denying the promotion. A DA Form 268 will be submitted no later than the 19th day of the month preceding the month of automatic
promotion. The first-line leader must counsel the Soldier, using DA Form 4856 (Developmental Counseling Form). The DA Form 4187 and the DA Form 4856 must be attached to the enlisted advancement report before it is forwarded to the BN S1 HR specialist. The BN S1 HR specialist must submit a Flag transaction in the personnel system to block the promotion as described below

you need to talk to your S1 to get it updated. As far as I have been able to tell, it does not update automatically, someone has to go in and manually make changes. ERB/ORB has always been a Charlie foxtrot. At one point my ORB had me listed as a black female with an MRD of January 1998. So according to my ORB at that time, I should be an 82 y/o black woman....

CPL (Join to see) - it's usually an easy fix. That's what makes it so hard to understand why they always seem to be jacked up.

LTC (Join to see) - We are not all jacked up Sir. LOL I do it on the civilian side and a lot of the stuff is easy to do in RLAS (Reserve Side). Emilpo for Active.

SSG Steven Borders - what I don't understand is how crap like this happens since it has to be manually changed. In my case, "someone" with access had to go in and manually change my race and gender and input an MRD that should have forced me to retire 22 years ago. I could see someone in a hurry accidentally checking the wrong box for race or gender but not both and there is absolutely no reason for anyone to change race or gender on an ERB/ORB (except in the very rare instance of someone becoming transgender). and this was in 2014-15 so why would anyone enter an MRD that was 16-17 years in the past for a soldier that was clear still serving? lol
