While Ranger Regiment is always looking for junior enlisted, they get promoted fast to SSG and don&#39;t want to leave, so it will be significantly more competitive to even be selected to attend RASP once you&#39;re a SSG. It&#39;s very possible they won&#39;t even review your packet if you don&#39;t have a tab. The challenges you endure remain, whether it be RASP 1 or RASP 2. <br /><br />Your packet WILL BE reviewed even if you don&#39;t have a tab; unless you are Combat Arms (E6 and above). <br /><br />Bottom line, contact a recruiter about any concerns you have.
