Re enlisting with bad medical records? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/re-enlisting-with-bad-medical-records <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was discharged from the Marine Corps back in 2016 due to what they label an adjustment disorder. In my medical records they stated I was suicidal and trying to avoid deployment, which was never the case why anyone would try to avoid a 6 month trip to Japan is beyond me. Regardless it is there now and I was given a RE-3P. I’ve been attempting to transition to the Army and they denied my waiver due to the wording of my records. They stated the re enlistment code is not as big a deal but it is what’s worded in my records. Ultimately I want nothing more than to be active duty, at the time I was under a lot of stress due to having to deal with jodie and other issues in my personal life, but I want nothing more to serve again. Is there anything I can do to get past this or get it corrected to work my way back in? Yes that RE is waiverable but you will need documentation doctor eval ect. The recruiter is going to let you know if he can get it waived or not if he thinks there is no chance then he wont work it. Best bet is try and find a recruiter that will help you. SFC(P) Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 15 May 2019 10:15:57 -0400 2019-05-15T10:15:57-04:00 2019-05-15T09:32:58-04:00
