Re-entering the Navy - Why the long wait? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/re-entering-the-navy-why-the-long-wait <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>So I decided to try to re-enter the navy as a reservist after 10 years of being out. I got out with a re-1 on my 214 with severence pay due to an injury. I am a full time firefighter and have overcome my injury. I submitted my package to meps with all the medical documents well over a month ago. My recruiter is terrible. He does not return calls or text messages. To say I am frustrated is putting it lightly. Any suggestions of how to handle to situation or do I need to continue to remain patient? I can't understand what the hold up is. Does meps really take this long in deciding if a person can come up for a entry physical? I'm sure he's very busy, but sometimes sitting on someone's desk is a wake up call to refocus on you especially if he's not returning calls/texts. Also, he could be on leave since the holidays are here. MAJ Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 22 Dec 2014 03:47:25 -0500 2014-12-22T03:47:25-05:00 2014-12-21T19:46:34-05:00
