Can I sign a DEC statement that far out? Ive only seen them used within the reenlistment window... Since ill still be close to 2 years away from it, can I still decline those orders and sign a DEC all the same.? If you meet the SRR for an assignment you will proceed to those orders. If not, you must reenlist or decline to reenlist. NCO club, a good place to get him lubricated and explain what you want. So when a levy comes down for your rank and MOS, he skips over you.
