In living at the Peak of the Information Age kinda sucks in some ways. I love the week I drop off line and Ca-hort with my Grandchildren every year. While deployed, I read regulations on my spare time. My biggest pet peeve is when someone says it's in the REG's but cannot reference to what REG/FM or says look it up it's in there. I turn around and go look it up, then print out the information and present it to them. I made it a habit to go to REG/FM's to gather my supporting references (ie. chapter 2, 2a(1) references/excerpts) for training presentations notes. I was typically asked, where was that information found. Knowledge is power, the more you know the better off you'll be in your duty position.
