Received an AAM today and noticed on the DA Form 638 that my DOD ID was wrong. Is this an issue and why?

Received an AAM today and noticed on the DA Form 638 that my DOD ID was wrong. Is this an issue and why? I have already been presented the award and it has been approved. What will come of it and should I bring this up with my S1 or does it not matter? Please let me know I don’t know anything about S1 stuff. Thanks!

Make S1 do it right. Should have gotten all your info correct, shows lack of "attention to detail".

Take copies to your S1 if you're concerned but a simple clerical error shouldn't negate your award. Keep the originals and only send copies if you want to inquire. Knew a guy that lost his original because not every S1 is the same, some are legit trash.

Mention it to you S1. I have learned if it isn't on paper it didn't happen. So, the paper has to be correct!
