Recently an MOH recipient endorsed a candidate. ALL politics aside, do you think it appropriate to use the award & service branch like that?

Re; Actors......I never have understood how people could seriously listen to opinions of people who dedicate their lives to being someone besides themselves...

CW4 Russ Hamilton you make the point exactly that people listen to speakers and endorsors from every walk of life. I'm sure that each of the speakers had their own motivation for endorsing ANY candidate. So, for personal gain and others from ideological commitments.

Sgt Jay Jones - the candidates select speakers with some sort of bonafides - something that they think will give the speaker credibility. The audience doesn't have much choice with who they listen to (unless they walk away). Not to mention the speakers are coached and their speeches screened. Also known as propaganda. The speakers aren't allowed to say whatever is on their mind - they are assisted and screened. There's also a background check conducted.

MCPO Roger Collins - So you don't need/want evidence? I require a higher burden of proof than simply "It happened", especially when the comment comes from an opposition party.

SP5 Christine Conley - I agree. The GOP is not the only political party that honors and respects the military.

LTC Kevin B. - Interesting, a PH.D. that need no proof of how a presidential candidate will act after being elected, yet needs more than on the scene reports on what happened. It's easy to see why you are in Conley's camp.

MCPO Roger Collins - Speak for yourself. Don't make assumptions on how I plan on voting, simply because I'm calling out an unsupported report of "people turning their backs on a MOH winner."
