Reclassing from 31B to 25B. I have a question about orders.

I reenlisted back in May for a re-class to 25B. I have my DD Form 4/1 (ELISTMENT/REENLISTMENT DOCUMENT) and DA Form 3286-E (STATEMENT FOR ENLISTMENT) and all say I have the slot for 25B but no orders for what will happen after I go to AIT. Retention said I should have my orders for school by October. Does anyone know who I talk to about my after school orders? Do I call MP Branch (current MOS) or Signal Branch?

You do. Realize 25B. Aren't being promoted to SSG and above for a long long time if at all!! 25B is cutting back big time. 25D and 17C are the signal MOS.

I just wanna know why you would do such a thing!! Haha no but I would think to call Signal Branch. I wouldn't expect to have orders until around halfway point through the course. Is that October time frame?

It's the retention branch that you contact. Your current branch can't touch because you're filling a requisition for 25B but because you aren't MOS qualified yet then you don't belong to the signal corps so they can't touch you either. I went through the same thing back in 2013. Odds are you'll get orders for korea though.
