You shouldn't be sent to Cuba as a brand new reclass on individual orders, but don't count it out, they'll place people where they need them. Hope this helps. As far as what you would look forward to, long hours, long work weeks, shift work, rotating shifts, and training directed by the Army and the American Corrections Association, so you'll pull several 12-14 hour days after PT, work and training. Deployments are usually voluntary and are to Cuba as an Unit.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 26 at 2015 12:26 AM2015-10-26T00:26:57-04:002015-10-26T00:26:57-04:00LTC Private RallyPoint Member1073098<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Once you are a SSG and have spent some time behind the walls of a correctional facility or detention facility, you could always be the DETOPS subject matter expert on a Brigade Combat Team Staff in its protection cell. Reclass is a bit more loose than initial entry training. I reclassed as a 31b, but I'd assume that places like Cuba may be in your future. There are also locations in Germany, lady I knew. Enjoy and be safe. Welcome to the MP corps.Response by SPC Tom Leightenheimer made Oct 29 at 2015 5:50 PM2015-10-29T17:50:19-04:002015-10-29T17:50:19-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member1077545<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm a current 31E and fresh out of AIT I been at FT Lewis now for just over 2 months so my experience isn't stellar but I can tell you what to expect as far as duty stations. Right now it's only Ft Lewis or more then likely ft Leavenworth only other Korea, Germany and of course Cuba. If you go to Leavenworth which is a 90 percent chance you'll be on 12 hr shifts (they are on permanent 12s right now for at least a year) and also expect go to Cuba at some point.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 30 at 2015 3:55 PM2015-10-30T15:55:52-04:002015-10-30T15:55:52-04:00SSG Jerry Eidson1082306<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Not trying to be a smartass, but I would have done my research first before reclassing to a new MOSResponse by SSG Jerry Eidson made Nov 2 at 2015 10:22 AM2015-11-02T10:22:49-05:002015-11-02T10:22:49-05:00MAJ Ken Landgren1086008<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am amazed how many people site and MOS thinking we all know it or should research it.Response by MAJ Ken Landgren made Nov 3 at 2015 7:19 PM2015-11-03T19:19:33-05:002015-11-03T19:19:33-05:00SSgt Jessica F.1249145<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SPC Sewell, <br />I was curious what you are reclassing from?
