Hello everyone, I just submitted a packet to reclass to 35L. Its something that I wanted to do when I joined back in 2011. I was told that I will be on the October 2014 review board. Putting the packet together has been a long a unforgiving process, from paper work getting lost to communication break downs and the worst thing about it was I already had a TS-SCI clearance before I started the process. Any input would be greatly appreciated, I know I still have about 60-90 days so I will remain patient and hopefully I will hear good news in the next coming months.

Spc Johnson, did you get picked up? Could you give me some information about the application process, I am looking to reclass. I have my TS/SCI, however I didn't know it was a review board style process. Thanks For Your Support

Hello SGT Walden, I did not get picked up. It sucked because they didn't give me a clear explanation on why but I believe it had to do with my student loan debt. Once I start paying on them then it may help my chances in the future. As of right now, I don't believe you can reclass to 35L as a SGT(P). I believe you will have to drop your p status. But you get interviewed by a your local CI agent and then they'll submit your packet and then there is a long waiting process. I waited 6 months before I found out. I may try again in the future, we'll see. Good luck

Good luck! I know that filling out to get a secret clearance takes lots of paperwork and time and energy. Let us know if you get it.
