How are the MOSs 42A or 68V?

Currently a 13B, E-6 (no ALC).
I have the option to reclass to 42A or 68V (missing one English credit) but I was wondering how both of these mos are? I learn pretty good but I’m a slow paced when it comes to learning new things.

What do mean you are missing an English credit? Neither of those require a college degree to switch to.

To your question:
42A: The human resources specialist supervises or performs personnel and administrative functions in support of company, battery, troop; detachments at division, corps, and echelons above corps; in brigade and battalion S1's or in other similar organizations, activities and units; and advises the commander, the staff, and unit soldiers on human resource matters. The human resources specialist also participates in occupational classification and management of human resources or supervises personnel management of human resources or supervises personnel management activities to include maintaining officer and enlisted personnel records and processing personnel actions concerning soldiers and their families.The level of the echelon of the organization you are assigned will really define what you do on a day to day basis. But it is largely clerical and administrative in nature. You will work in an office the majority of the time processing paperwork. You will have to learn new systems of record and processing regulations.

68V: The respiratory specialist assists with the management of a respiratory unit or administers respiratory therapy and performs pulmonary function tests under the supervision of a physician or nurse anesthetist to help patients with chronic or sudden breathing problems. You'll be assisting doctors and advanced nurses in treating patients in both emergency and non-emergency situations, preparing blood samples for lab tests, and administering tests that check lung capacity and function. You will be working in a hospital unit with a specialized role. 68V and 68W are currently very packed right now, they have some of the highest cutoff scores for promotion.

I'm not Army but in any branch of the military services human resources/admin is a long way from medical, especially medical primarily focused on critical breathing care. Seriously envision yourself being in each work environment/setting prior to deciding. One is usually office type settings and the other usually hospital or medical clinic settings. Probably wearing scrubs or related medical clothing versus wearing regular uniforms. The daily sights, sounds and smells of each environment are very different. You are definitely in a different "scene" with each one (as we used to say way back in the day). If you are able maybe visit your local human resources office and possibly chat with them and do the same with the nearest medical hospital or clinic. Try to take it all in. Note: I originally had my name on the list to go to Hospital Corpsman (basically medic) school until after I was on my first ship for a while and saw first hand what sick bay (ship's very small med clinic) "day to day" was really like, then I ended up switching to Yeoman (human resources/admin).
