Recommendations for a good military watch?

Gents, I'm looking for a good watch that is authorized for wear at Ranger school. Any recommendations or feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

Not sure what is and is not allowed at Ranger school these days but I've had a g shock since I was a team leader. I'm on my third one now and that was fifteen years ago

Can't go wrong with G-Shock. Have had them in different varieties for many years, yet to fail-and they have gotten the crap beat out of them.

I used my G-Shock to get through 2 deployments and Drill Sergeant School. It has a nice back lighting feature that doesn't burn your eyes out in pitch black nights, nor does it turn into a signal beacon while on patrol. Pick from any of their rugged designs and you won't be disappointed.

I have to agree with the rest.. the G-Shock won't let ya down! I must admit I'm not sure about what watch or watches are or aren't authorized at Ranger school, but if there is a G-shock on the good to go list, get one!
