Gents, I'm looking for a good watch that is authorized for wear at Ranger school. Any recommendations or feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

Can't go wrong with G-Shock. Have had them in different varieties for many years, yet to fail-and they have gotten the crap beat out of them.

The only thing that stopped my G-Shock was a thieving household goods mover. 2 deployments and a trip to the Drill Sergeant's School didn't stop that watch... just a man with sticky fingers. Though... now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure that it's still ticking away...

I have to agree with the rest.. the G-Shock won't let ya down! I must admit I'm not sure about what watch or watches are or aren't authorized at Ranger school, but if there is a G-shock on the good to go list, get one!

Not sure what is and is not allowed at Ranger school these days but I've had a g shock since I was a team leader. I'm on my third one now and that was fifteen years ago

My first one made it from 96-04. OIF1 was not kind to it. My second one lasted from 04-09 OIF 2 was not kind to it. Got my last one in 09 and am still wearing it. The only watch I'll ever buy.
