When I first started in 2005 we worked some insane hours and practically every Saturday.
The hours will vary anyhow if there are events and later in the day. Depending on where you are how sucessful your center is you may work more or less as long as there has been approval from the higher ups.
It may change again with the new CG in place but all you can do is smile and dial! Normally you will work from 0800 hrs to 1700 hrs. Monday thru Friday. You will work some Saturdays and have all Sundays off, unless you are driving or picking up an applicant or a shipper to MEPS.
Even though it may or may not be a team mission, recruiters still must pull their weight and write contracts. So naturally if you are behind the ol eight ball, then you will work more hours.
Back in the day, if you volunteered for recruiting duty, you could select the Battalion you wanted to work from. I highly recommend warm weather, anywhere in the south. Good luck young Sergeant and remember, the life of a recruiter may not be over in the desert, but is is extremely vital to the over all health of the Army.....
By the way, if you have a Station Commander that is worth his/her salt, they will control the battle rythm and the hours needed to be successful....always ask for a referral, always ask them to join, don't beat around the bush! 1SG Brian Adams Tue, 11 Aug 2015 16:14:39 -0400 2015-08-11T16:14:39-04:00 Response by SGT Kristin Wiley made Aug 17 at 2015 8:29 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/recruiting-duty-info?n=895082&urlhash=895082

My friend says it's long days with usually 5-6 day work weeks depending on if they meet their quota.
