RED Shirt Friday

I have found that lot's of Active Duty Service Members and Veterans have no idea what RED (Remember Everyone Deployed) Shirt Friday is.

Do you participate in RED Shirt Friday?

Sir,

I'm aware of RED shirt Friday. I've even explained it to my civilian coworkers as to why I'm wearing a red shirt every Friday.

I am still active....my Friday (and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) are all in ABUs.... I have heard of it, but no way I can play.

I may accidentally wear red on some Fridays, but that does not show that I don't think about my brothers and sisters in arms in harms way everyday, and not just on Fridays.

Actually I wear something red every day in remembrance of all of our deployed brothers and sisters where ever they may be. Here's to hoping they all come home soon and safely. God bless them all.

This is the first time i have ever heard of RED shirt Friday. I feel that if I do not know about it than there are probably a lot of other people who also do not know about this. I do not feel the need to wear a certain color to show my support to those who are deployed, I have deployed 3 times and I constantly know people who are deployed at any given moment. I always remember those deployed every day not just Friday.
